CANSON Montval art paper is a single 50 x 65 cm sheet of fine‑grained, acid‑free paper with a textured surface and a weight of 200 g/m². Originally created at the request of painter Gaspard Maillol in the early 20th century, this paper is designed for water‑based techniques such as watercolours, gouache and mixed media. The natural white tone and controlled absorbency make it suitable for detailed studies and reworking after cleaning with water.
