The CARRERA D132 32091 NASCAR Camaro NextGen is a 1:32 scale electric slot racing car designed for use on compatible D132 tracks and powerbases. It reproduces the NASCAR Camaro NextGen livery and delivers realistic slot-racing handling and speed suitable for hobbyists, collectors, and competitive track racing. The model is built to fit standard D132 guide blades and pick-up shoes for reliable contact with powered rails.

Advantages

This 1:32 scale slot car offers detailed exterior styling that mirrors the NASCAR Camaro NextGen design while maintaining proportions suited to D132 tracks. Its electric motor and chassis geometry are tuned for stable high-speed runs and predictable cornering on Carrera D132 systems. The car is compatible with common D132 accessories and replacement parts, making maintenance and upgrades straightforward for experienced racers. As a branded CARRERA model, it is suitable for collectors who require authentic-looking replicas for display or track use.

Suitable for

• Home slot-racing on Carrera D132 layouts
• Competitive club racing on D132 systems
• Collectors building a scale NASCAR model collection
• Practice sessions to refine driving technique on electric slot cars

When it may not be suitable

This model is intended specifically for Carrera D132 track systems; it will not operate on non-compatible scales or unrelated slot-car standards. It is a hobby-grade toy and may require basic setup, such as ensuring correct guide blade seating and clean pick-up contacts, which could be unsuitable for very young children without supervision.

Key specifications

• Scale: 1:32
• Drive type: electric motor for slot-track use
• Compatibility: designed for Carrera D132 track and powerbases
• Body: NASCAR Camaro NextGen livery reproduction
• Intended use: track racing, hobbyist collection, competitive events

How to use

Install the car onto a Carrera D132 track by aligning the guide blade with the slot and lowering the chassis until the pick-up shoes contact the rails. Use the appropriate D132 powerbase and controller to supply voltage and throttle input. Before racing, check that the wheels spin freely, the guide sits cleanly in the slot, and electrical contacts are free of debris. Regularly inspect tires and pick-ups and replace worn parts with Carrera-compatible components to maintain performance.

What to consider before purchase

• Requires a Carrera D132 track and compatible powerbase to operate
• May need initial setup and occasional maintenance for optimal performance
• Not compatible with non-D132 slot-car systems or different scales

Usage recommendations

For consistent performance, run the car on clean track rails, perform gentle break-in laps at moderate speed to seat mechanical parts, and replace worn tires or pick-ups with Carrera D132-compatible spares. Store the car in a dry place and handle the body carefully during maintenance to preserve the livery detail.
