Desiccant cartridge Catit PIXI for cat feeder, white, 85×75 mm, pack of 3
Moisture absorbing pads designed for use with the Catit PIXI Smart Feeder. This set contains three silica gel desiccant packs that fit into the integrated desiccant holder in the feeder's top cover. The silica gel absorbs moisture from the food reservoir to help keep dry cat food fresh and crunchy for longer; replace each pack approximately every 30 days for best results.
The Catit PIXI desiccant cartridge is specifically shaped to fit the PIXI Smart Feeder and uses silica gel, a commonly used drying agent, to reduce humidity inside the food reservoir. By removing excess moisture it helps maintain the texture and quality of dry kibble and reduces the risk of clumping or softening.
Not intended for use with wet or canned food; silica gel is effective only for controlling humidity in dry food reservoirs. It is not a food additive and should not come into direct contact with pet food—use only in the feeder’s desiccant holder.
Open the top cover of the Catit PIXI Smart Feeder and place one desiccant pack into the integrated holder. Replace the desiccant pack every 30 days or sooner if it appears saturated. Dispose of the used pack according to local waste regulations and store replacement packs in a dry place until needed.
For consistent results, check the desiccant pack monthly and replace it when it changes colour or becomes visibly saturated. Keep spare packs on hand if you live in a humid area.
