Celestron Omni series eyepieces provide a 43º apparent field of view suitable for observing the Moon, planets and many deep-sky objects. The optical design uses four elements with multi-coated, high-transmission glass and blackened edges to improve contrast and deliver clear, sharp images. The eyepiece barrel is made of anodized aluminum and accepts 1.25" filters.

Advantages

The aluminum body has a matte two-step anodized finish that reduces reflections and glare. A black rubber eyecup is included and can be folded down for use with eyeglasses. How to use

Screw the eyepiece into the focuser or 1.25" adapter and secure it in place. Use the included rubber eyecup for comfortable viewing; fold it down when wearing eyeglasses. If you want to use color or light-pollution filters, thread a 1.25" filter into the insert barrel. Hold the eyepiece by the rubberized grip on longer-barrel models to avoid slipping during sessions.

Choose the eyepiece focal length that matches your observing goals: shorter focal lengths for higher magnification of planets and lunar details, and longer focal lengths for wider, lower-magnification views of deep-sky objects.
