Heat shrink tube CellPack SRH2 95-26, black, 1000 mm length
CellPack SRH2 95-26 is a black heat shrink tube with an internal adhesive lining, supplied in a 1000 mm length. The product provides insulation, mechanical protection and moisture sealing for cables, joints and terminations in electrical, telecom and industrial installations. The tube is halogen-free, medium wall and designed to deliver stable performance under normal installation conditions.
The heat shrink tube combines a 95→26 shrink ratio with an adhesive inner layer to ensure secure sealing and reliable environmental protection after heat application. Its medium wall construction offers mechanical strength and electrical insulation, while UV stabilization and resistance to chemical agents improve durability in exposed or industrial environments. The material is halogen-free and non-corrosive, contributing to safety and compatibility in electrical systems.
This medium wall SRH2 tube is not intended for applications that require very large shrink ratios beyond the specified 95→26 relationship or where extremely high-temperature resistance beyond standard heat-shrink materials is required. It may also be less appropriate where a very thin or very thick wall is needed for specialized mechanical or thermal performance.
Slide the heat shrink tube over the cable, joint or termination so it fully covers the area to be insulated. Apply uniform heat using a heat gun or appropriate heating tool until the tube contracts and the adhesive lining flows to create a sealed interface. Allow the assembly to cool so the adhesive cures and the material stabilizes before subjecting the cable to mechanical stress or energizing the circuit.
For consistent results, use a controlled heat source and apply heat evenly around the tube. Start with lower heat and increase as needed to avoid overheating adjacent components. After shrinking, inspect the adhesive bead and adhesion to substrates to ensure complete sealing.
