How to use

Select a section of tubing slightly longer than the area to be insulated. Slide the tubing over the joint or wire so it fully covers the exposed conductor and overlap both ends onto the intact insulation. Apply even heat using a heat gun, hot air tool or lighter, maintaining a safe distance and moving the heat source to avoid overheating; the tubing will shrink and conform to the shape of the underlying cable. Allow the tube to cool and inspect the coverage and adhesion before returning the assembly to service.

Usage recommendations

When shrinking, keep the heat source moving and maintain a consistent distance to prevent scorching. For environments with higher moisture exposure, choose additional sealing measures if required. Cut the tube with a clean, sharp blade for neat edges and accurate sizing. Other lengths are available on request if a different continuous length is needed.
