CellPack 219647 Easy-Glide Cable Pulling Lubricant 1 Liter

The CellPack 219647 Easy-Glide Cable Pulling Lubricant is a professional-grade solution engineered to facilitate the smooth installation of electrical cables through conduits and ducts. This 1-liter lubricant significantly reduces friction, allowing for easier cable routing while protecting the cable jacket from mechanical stress and abrasion during the pulling process. Its advanced formula is designed to maintain consistent performance across various installation conditions, ensuring that cables can be pulled over long distances without damage to their insulation.

Advantages

Using this lubricant provides a substantial reduction in the physical effort required during cable installation, which helps prevent overstretching or damaging sensitive wiring. The high-quality composition ensures that the lubricant remains effective throughout the entire pulling operation, minimizing the risk of cable jams within the conduit. Furthermore, it is compatible with a wide range of cable types and conduit materials, making it a versatile addition to any professional toolkit. The application process is clean and efficient, contributing to faster project completion times and improved safety for the electrical infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Installation of power cables in electrical conduits
• Routing telecommunication and data cables through ducts
• Large-scale commercial and residential electrical wiring projects
• Pulling cables through long or complex conduit runs with multiple bends

When it may not be suitable

This lubricant is specifically formulated for cable pulling applications and should not be used for lubricating mechanical moving parts, gears, or high-temperature industrial machinery. It is also not intended for use on surfaces where a permanent, non-slip finish is required, as the residue may remain slippery for an extended period.

Key specifications

• Volume: 1 Liter
• Application: Cable pulling and routing
• Compatibility: Suitable for most standard cable insulation types
• Function: Friction reduction

How to use

Before beginning the installation, ensure that the conduit is clear of debris. Apply the lubricant directly onto the cable as it enters the conduit or inject it into the conduit run prior to pulling. Distribute the lubricant evenly along the cable surface to ensure maximum coverage. Once the cable has been successfully pulled through, any excess lubricant can be wiped away from the cable ends or conduit openings to maintain a clean workspace.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the total length and diameter of the conduit run to ensure sufficient quantity is purchased
• Check compatibility with specific specialized cable jackets if working with non-standard materials
• Ensure proper storage conditions to maintain the consistency of the lubricant

Usage recommendations

For optimal results, apply the lubricant generously at the entry point of the conduit and ensure the cable is fed smoothly without sharp kinks or excessive tension.
