Product information

Description

The CHERRY KC 4500 ERGO is a wired USB keyboard with a curved ergonomic design and a German QWERTZ layout. Its 109 keys and an extra-soft memory-foam palm rest support a more natural hand and arm position to help reduce tension in the shoulders and upper back. A 1.8 m cable with USB plug enables easy connection without additional software through plug & play, and the keyboard is available in a white finish suited to modern workspaces.

Advantages

The curved shape promotes a relaxed posture for hands and arms, which can relieve shoulder and back strain. The memory-foam palm rest prevents pressure points and provides comfortable support during extended typing. Three adjustable feet let you raise the front of the keyboard for a comfortable angle when working standing or sitting, and non-slip rubber feet keep the keyboard stable. Multimedia functions are integrated into the F-keys and are accessible via the FN key. The free CHERRY KEYS software allows further customization of keys, macros and quick access to apps and text modules.

Suitable for

Office work and long typing sessions
Users seeking ergonomic keyboard layout to reduce shoulder and wrist tension
Workstations with USB connection and QWERTZ (German) layout requirements
Environments where a non-slip, stable keyboard is required

How to use

Place the keyboard on a stable surface and, if needed, adjust the three feet to set a comfortable typing angle. Use the FN key together with the F-keys to access multimedia controls. Install the CHERRY KEYS software on your computer to program macros, assign shortcuts or set up quick-access keys.

Usage recommendations

Position the keyboard so your forearms are parallel to the desk surface and your wrists rest lightly on the memory-foam palm rest. Periodically change posture and take short breaks to reduce muscle tension during extended typing periods.
