Description

The Chief CMS440 suspended ceiling tile kit in white is designed to mount lightweight front projectors on standard suspended ceiling grids. It supports a maximum load of 22.7 kg and includes components for secure attachment, cable management and a finished ceiling appearance. The kit fits 24" (600 mm) wide ceiling tile grids and is compatible with 1.5" NPT extension columns.

Advantages

The kit includes a WireVice™ Cable Suspension System for rapid cable tie-off and a TwisTile™ Ceiling Tile Cutter to create a neat circular opening for the extension column. Flexible placement allows the column to be positioned anywhere within a 2' x 2' or 2' x 4' ceiling tile. An All-Points™ Security System provides locking hardware at the column connection point to help protect the installed projector from theft. The package contains four 25' flexible cables, four wood eyebolts, four concrete anchors and a chrome trim ring for a finished look.

How to use

Use the TwisTile™ cutter to create the circular opening in the ceiling tile for the extension column, then position the column at the desired location within the tile area. Secure the column connection using the included All-Points™ locking hardware, fasten the kit to the structural supports using the supplied eyebolts and anchors as appropriate for the ceiling type, and route the projector power and signal cables through the WireVice™ Cable Suspension System. Attach the projector to the extension column following the projector manufacturer's mounting instructions and verify load capacity and alignment before final tightening.
