Description

The Chief SYSAUW Ceiling Mount is a suspended ceiling projector system engineered for faster ordering and installation. The preassembled mount and column arrive in the order required for installation and the adjustable ceiling plate allows placement above or below ceiling tiles while accommodating inconsistent T-grids. The system supports common grid sizes and provides an adjustable column with channels for both high and low voltage cabling, plus a white finish that integrates with most ceiling décors.

Advantages

The design reduces installation time by about one-third and includes a detachable electric plate for pre-wiring. Tool-free Microzone adjustment and Centris technology enable precise fingertip positioning and tool-free lockdown. A Q-Lock quick release lever allows fast connect/disconnect of the projector for service and adds security via an integrated key lock. The mount is compatible with popular 2-gang adjustable mud rings and has an improved universal interface for easier locking and unlocking at the projector connection.

How to use

Unpack the preassembled mount and column in the order provided. Position the adjustable ceiling plate above or below the ceiling tile as needed and secure it to the T-grid. If required, detach the electric plate to complete pre-wiring before final assembly. Route high and low voltage cables through the dual inlay channels in the adjustable column, set the column to the desired length (0–12" adjustment) and attach the projector using the universal interface. Use the Microzone and Centris adjustments to achieve precise alignment and engage the tool-free lockdown. For service, use the Q-Lock quick release lever to disconnect the projector quickly and, when needed, secure it with the integrated key lock.

Usage recommendations

Verify that the ceiling grid type and tile dimensions are compatible (2'×2', 2'×4', 60×60 cm, or 62.5×62.5 cm). Ensure the projector weight does not exceed 15.9 kg and complete electrical pre-wiring with the detachable electric plate before final installation to minimize downtime.
