Power supply CHIEFTEC GPF-400P TFX 400 W 20+4 pin ATX Grey
CHIEFTEC GPF-400P TFX 400 W is a low-profile power supply designed for compact desktop PCs and small servers that require a TFX form factor. The unit provides up to 400 W of total power, accepts a wide AC input range (100–240 V, 47–63 Hz) and uses an active cooling solution with an 80 mm fan. The supply features a 20+4 pin ATX motherboard connector and includes SATA power cables, meeting common compatibility needs for small form factor builds. Efficiency is approximately 85% and the product complies with CE, EAC, FCC and RoHS standards.
The CHIEFTEC GPF-400P offers a compact TFX layout that fits slim or space-constrained cases while delivering 400 W of continuous power. Its universal AC input and active PFC improve voltage stability across global mains conditions. An 80 mm fan provides active cooling in a small chassis, and included SATA power leads simplify connections for modern storage devices. Certification to CE, EAC, FCC and RoHS indicates adherence to common safety and environmental requirements.
This PSU may not be suitable for high-performance gaming rigs, workstation systems with multiple high-power GPUs, or builds that require more than 400 W of continuous power. Systems needing numerous PCIe power connectors or extended modular cable runs may find the fixed cable lengths and connector set limiting.
Install the CHIEFTEC GPF-400P into a case compatible with the TFX form factor following the case manufacturer’s mounting instructions. Connect the 20+4 pin ATX plug to the motherboard’s main power socket and attach SATA power connectors to drives as required. Ensure the AC input is connected to a properly grounded mains outlet within the 100–240 V range and switch the unit on via the system power switch. Monitor system stability and temperatures after installation to confirm adequate airflow and cooling.
Position the supply to allow unobstructed airflow to the 80 mm fan, avoid blocking ventilation openings, and use a surge protector or UPS to protect against mains spikes. For systems close to the 400 W limit, monitor load and temperatures and consider a higher-rated PSU if future upgrades are planned.
