Citizen 2000406 Internal WLAN Network Card Wi-Fi 4 802.11n 150 Mbit/s

The Citizen 2000406 internal WLAN network card is a dedicated hardware solution designed to provide stable and efficient wireless connectivity for compatible devices, including the Citizen CL-S700 label printer. This internal wireless network card integrates seamlessly into your hardware setup, offering a reliable bridge to your local network infrastructure without the clutter of external adapters or cables. Engineered for consistent performance, it supports daily operational data exchange and helps streamline printing and device management tasks in professional environments.

Advantages

Integrating this internal WLAN card into your compatible equipment brings several operational benefits. It eliminates the need for physical ethernet cables, providing greater flexibility in where you position your hardware within the workspace. The internal design protects the components from accidental physical damage and disconnection. By utilizing standard wireless protocols, it ensures that your device remains connected to the network for continuous data flow, reducing potential bottlenecks in busy work environments where reliable communication between servers and peripheral hardware is essential.

Suitable for

• Connecting compatible Citizen label printers to a wireless network
• Streamlining workspace layouts by removing wired ethernet connections
• Enabling network-based printing in office and industrial settings
• Integrating peripheral hardware into existing WLAN infrastructures

When it may not be suitable

This network card is specifically designed for compatible hardware setups and will not function as a standard universal Wi-Fi card for desktop computers or laptops. If your operating environment relies exclusively on high-speed gigabit wired networks or requires advanced Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 standards for massive data transfers, this 150 Mbit/s card may not meet those high-bandwidth demands.

Key specifications

• Internal installation design
• Wireless connectivity technology
• WLAN interface
• Maximum data transfer rate of 150 Mbit/s
• Wi-Fi 4 802.11n top Wi-Fi standard

How to use

Installation of the internal WLAN card should be performed by qualified personnel or following the official hardware manual of your compatible device. Ensure the device is powered off and disconnected from any power source before opening the housing to install the card into the designated internal slot. Once securely installed and the device is powered back on, access the system settings to configure the wireless network parameters, such as SSID and security credentials, to establish a connection with your local access point.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify compatibility with your specific printer or hardware model, such as the Citizen CL-S700
• Check that your wireless network operates on compatible 802.11n standards
• Assess whether your network environment requires speeds higher than 150 Mbit/s
• Confirm that installation facilities or technical support are available if needed

For optimal network stability, ensure that the wireless access point is positioned within an adequate range of the installed device and free from major physical obstructions. Regularly check for firmware updates related to your hardware setup to maintain secure and efficient wireless communication.
