Cable sleeve c.k tools MightyRod T5442 for 6–10 mm cables
The c.k tools MightyRod T5442 cable sleeve is designed for routing and protecting individual cables and small cable bundles with diameters from 6 to 10 mm. It provides a smooth, semi-rigid guide that eases installation through walls, conduits and other confined spaces while reducing abrasion and snagging. The sleeve is intended for tasks where controlled cable routing and basic mechanical protection improve installation speed and cable longevity.
The MightyRod sleeve combines a low-friction inner surface and a flexible outer profile to assist feeding cables through tight openings. Its construction helps prevent damage to cable jackets during pulling and reduces the likelihood of catches on rough edges. Because the sleeve is sized for 6–10 mm cables, it offers a close fit that stabilizes wiring and simplifies handling in single-cable or small-bundle installations. The product is compact and easy to store with typical workshop and site toolkits.
Insert the cable through the open end of the sleeve and feed both the cable and sleeve together while guiding the sleeve through the wall, conduit or opening. For best results, align the sleeve with the intended route to minimize bending and friction. When the cable has been pulled to the required length, withdraw the sleeve or cut it away as appropriate, leaving the cable in place. Use steady, even pulling force and, where available, a fish tape or guide rod to assist longer runs.
Use the MightyRod sleeve for individual cables and small bundles within the 6–10 mm range; avoid forcing larger bundles through the sleeve to prevent deformation. Inspect the route for sharp edges and consider additional grommets or edge protection where necessary. Store the sleeve clean and dry to maintain the low-friction surface.
