Brake Pads Clarks for Magura Julie (2001–2008) Sintered Metal CLA-VRX808C
Clarks sintered metal brake pads designed for Magura Julie (2001–2008) provide an exact-fit replacement for compatible hydraulic rim disc brake calipers. Manufactured with a metallic friction compound, these pads are intended to deliver consistent braking performance and extended pad life across a range of riding conditions. They are suitable for routine maintenance and part replacement when original pads are worn, ensuring the braking system continues to operate within expected parameters.
The sintered metal compound offers improved durability and heat resistance compared with organic compounds, reducing fade during prolonged braking. The pads are shaped to match the Magura Julie caliper housing, facilitating straightforward installation and reliable pad retention. Their construction is optimized for consistent bite, predictable modulation, and reduced wear under heavy use and varied weather.
Before installation, inspect the caliper, rotor, and pad carrier for damage or contamination. Remove the wheel and old pads according to the Magura Julie service procedure, taking care not to introduce oil or grease to the braking surfaces. Fit the Clarks pads into the pad carrier until they seat securely, then reinstall any retaining pins or clips. Refit the wheel and perform a series of controlled brake applications to bed the new pads and confirm correct alignment and modulation. If necessary, follow manufacturer service intervals for pad inspection and replacement.
Use clean tools and avoid touching friction surfaces with bare hands. After installation, allow a short bedding-in period with gradual braking to ensure optimal contact between pad and rotor. Replace pads when friction material is worn close to the backing plate or when braking performance noticeably declines.
