Cn Spoke bicycle spokes STD14 stainless steel 256 mm, 144 pcs with nipples
Set of Cn Spoke STD14 bicycle spokes in stainless steel, 256 mm length, supplied with compatible nipples. The straight-gauge 2.0–2.0–2.0 profile provides uniform stiffness along the spoke and is suitable for standard double-wall rims and many wheel-building applications. The stainless steel construction offers increased corrosion resistance and dimensional stability for replacement, repair or custom wheel projects.
The spokes are made from stainless steel for long-term resistance to rust and environmental wear. A straight-gauge 2.0–2.0–2.0 profile gives consistent tensile characteristics and simplifies tensioning during wheel building. Supplied as a complete set with nipples, the package streamlines replacement and repair work and reduces the need to source matching parts separately.
Measure the required spoke length and confirm compatibility with the rim and hub before starting. Replace broken spokes by removing the damaged spoke and installing a new spoke with the supplied nipple, then bring the wheel up to approximate tension by hand and use a spoke wrench to incrementally tension and true the wheel. When building a wheel from scratch, follow standard lacing patterns for the hub and rim, maintain even spoke tension, and check dish and true regularly during the build.
Use a calibrated spoke tension meter where possible to achieve even tension across spokes. Apply a small amount of suitable thread lubricant to the spoke threads to facilitate accurate tensioning and reduce the risk of nipple seizure. Inspect nipples and spoke ends for damage during installation and periodically check wheel tension and alignment as part of regular maintenance.
