The COBI DR BR 52 Steam Locomotive is a detailed building block model representing the German BR 52 (Ty2) wartime steam locomotive in 1:35 scale. The set reproduces the locomotive and tender with accurate body proportions, exterior markings and numerous interior prints visible through a removable engine room roof. The model includes five track sections and a miniature figure of a German railwayman in World War II uniform.

The set contains 2476 pieces and offers a high level of detail: printed symbols, numbering and realistic interior elements such as the firebox with visible burning coal. A geared drive mechanism couples the engine and tender so both move together and the wheels rotate realistically when the model is gently pushed.
