Hanging hammock COCOON HS111-UL 1-person nylon Olive, 3250×1480 mm, max 140 kg, 240 g
COCOON HS111-UL is an ultralight single-person hanging hammock in olive, made from 20 Denier Hexagonal Ripstop Nylon. With overall dimensions of 3250×1480 mm and a packed weight of 240 g, the hammock is engineered for camping, travel and compact storage while supporting up to 140 kg. Construction includes super-strong four-needle stitching and a UHMW-PE cord ridge line that sets a consistent pitch to enable a comfortable diagonal lay. The integrated stuff sack is sized to hold two 12 kN aluminum carabiners for compact transport.
The ultralight 20D hexagonal ripstop nylon balances low weight and durability, making the hammock suitable for minimalist backpacking and extended outdoor use. Four-needle stitching increases seam strength and longevity under repeated tension. The UHMW-PE ridge line preserves a constant hang geometry for improved sleeping posture and stability. A purpose-fit stuff sack stores the hammock and two carabiners together, streamlining setup and reducing the chance of losing small hardware.
Choose two anchor points approximately 3–4 meters apart at a suitable height and inspect them for stability. Attach the carabiners and suspension system to the anchor points following the manufacturer’s recommended method, then clip the hammock’s attachment loops into the carabiners. Adjust the ridge line so the hammock hangs with a gentle sag and offers a diagonal lay for sleeping. Before entering, test the setup by applying weight gradually to confirm correct pitch and secure connections.
For longevity, avoid exposing the nylon fabric to prolonged UV radiation and abrasive surfaces. Rinse off dirt and allow the hammock to dry fully before packing to prevent mildew. Use appropriate tree-protection straps to minimize damage to anchors and follow load limits—do not exceed the 140 kg maximum user weight.
