Terminal connector Comap 18-3/4 with brass ring (DWZ) — Comap 587186

The Comap 18-3/4 terminal connector with brass ring is a compact mechanical connector designed to provide a secure clamp-style connection for cable or pipe junctions in electrical and plumbing installations. The connector combines a robust metal body with a brass ring element to ensure mechanical retention and conductive continuity where a small, reliable terminal fitting is required. It is intended for fixed installations and applications that demand a straightforward, low-profile termination solution.

Advantages

This terminal connector offers reliable mechanical clamping and improved electrical conductivity due to the brass ring component. Its compact form factor enables installation in confined spaces while maintaining a stable connection. The metal construction provides durability and resistance to deformation under normal tightening forces, and the design supports consistent contact pressure for repeatable performance during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Electrical terminations requiring a compact clamp-style connector
• Plumbing or piping junctions needing a mechanical retention element
• Installations in restricted spaces where a low-profile terminal is needed
• Applications where conductive continuity and mechanical stability are both required

Key specifications

• Connector type: mechanical clamp-style terminal with brass ring
• Material: metal body with brass ring contact element
• Form factor: compact, low-profile terminal connector suitable for confined spaces
• Function: provides mechanical retention and conductive continuity for cable or pipe junctions

How to use

Prepare the cable or pipe end according to standard installation practice, ensuring correct stripping or preparation for the connector type. Insert the conductor or pipe into the connector until proper seating is achieved and tighten the clamp or fastening element to the recommended torque for the application. Verify that the brass ring makes firm contact and that the assembly is stable and electrically continuous where required. Follow applicable wiring or plumbing codes and safety procedures during installation.

Usage recommendations

Use this terminal connector in dry, protected installation environments or within enclosures rated for the application. Regularly inspect connections for signs of loosening or corrosion as part of scheduled maintenance, and retighten or replace components if necessary to maintain reliable mechanical and electrical performance.
