Pipe Comap S7090LV nickel-plated L=300 mm Ø16×2–15 (DWZ)

Comap S7090LV nickel-plated pipe, length 300 mm and nominal dimensions Ø16×2–15 (DWZ), is intended as a short connector or stub in plumbing and heating systems. The nickel-plated surface improves corrosion resistance and provides a smooth finish for reliable mechanical joints. Designed by Comap for domestic and light commercial installations, this straight pipe section serves as a coupling, extension, or replacement piece where a precise short run of pipe is required.

Advantages

The nickel plating offers enhanced protection against corrosion compared with bare copper or untreated fittings, while maintaining good conductivity and dimensional stability. Its 300 mm length and Ø16×2–15 (DWZ) dimensions make it suitable for compact routing and tight spaces. The uniform outer finish simplifies sealing and joining operations, and the straight geometry ensures predictable flow characteristics and easy alignment with other components.

Suitable for

• Short connections and stubs in residential plumbing systems
• Extensions or couplings in light commercial heating installations
• Replacement of short damaged pipe sections in tight spaces
• Situations requiring corrosion-resistant visible runs or exposed fittings

Key specifications

• Material: nickel-plated pipe (base metal compatible with DWZ dimensions)
• Length: 300 mm
• Nominal dimensions: Ø16×2–15 (DWZ)
• Finish: nickel-plated surface for improved corrosion resistance
• Geometry: straight pipe section suitable for coupling and extension use

How to use

Measure and cut the existing piping to fit the 300 mm Comap S7090LV section where a short connector or stub is required. Prepare mating ends according to the chosen joining method (soldering, compression fittings, or approved mechanical joints) and ensure surfaces are clean and free of debris. Align the pipe section with adjacent components, apply the appropriate sealing or joining technique, and test the connection for leaks following local plumbing and heating codes. Follow standard safety precautions and manufacturer recommendations for the joining method selected.

Usage recommendations

Use this nickel-plated pipe in systems that require short, corrosion-resistant connections; avoid aggressive chemical exposure that may damage plating. For long-term performance, ensure joints are made with compatible materials and inspected periodically for signs of wear or corrosion.
