Brass Press Tee Comap MTW2034, 20×3/4×20 mm, female threaded (GW)
Comap MTW2034 is a brass press tee with a female threaded branch in a 20×3/4×20 mm configuration, intended for press-fit plumbing installations. It connects two 20 mm press-fit pipes and provides a central 3/4" female (GW) thread for attaching valves, fittings or other components. Manufactured from dezincification-resistant brass, the fitting is suitable for potable water and heating systems where a threaded outlet is required for accessories or maintenance connections.
The press tee offers fast installation with press-fit connections that eliminate the need for soldering or welding, reducing installation time and on-site labor. The brass construction provides corrosion resistance and long-term durability in domestic and commercial water and heating systems. The integrated female thread delivers a secure, standardized connection point for valves and fittings, enabling straightforward integration of meters, drains or branch components without additional adapters.
Prepare pipe ends by cutting square and deburring to ensure correct insertion depth. Slide the pipe fully into the press-fit connections and use a compatible pressing tool and jaw sized for 20 mm fittings to form permanent joints. Use the 3/4" female thread to install a compatible valve, fitting or accessory; apply an appropriate thread sealant or tape if required by the fitting specification. After installation, test the system according to local codes and regulations to verify tightness and correct operation.
Use certified pressing tools and the correct jaw profile for 20 mm press fittings. Avoid mixing dissimilar metals without appropriate dielectric isolation and follow local plumbing standards for potable water and heating systems. Regularly inspect threaded connections and re-tighten or reseal as needed during maintenance intervals.
