Copper 90° Elbow Conex Press B Press 35 mm (P500103500000)
Conex Press B Press 90° copper elbow for 35 mm tubing provides a compact and durable right-angle change of direction for copper pipework in plumbing and heating systems. Designed for press-fit connections, this fitting is intended for use with compatible Conex press tools and press rings to form a secure, leak-resistant joint suitable for potable water and central heating installations. The elbow's geometry and material offer corrosion resistance and stable mechanical performance under typical operating conditions.
The Conex Press 90° elbow is manufactured from copper to ensure good thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance while maintaining dimensional stability. Press-fit installation eliminates the need for open flames, soldering or glue, allowing faster assembly and reduced risk during installation. The fitting is compatible with standard press systems and press rings designed for Conex Press B Press connections, providing a consistent joint quality and reliable sealing when installed according to manufacturer guidelines.
Prepare the copper pipe by cutting it square and deburring the inside and outside of the tube end to ensure a clean fit. Select the correct press ring for a 35 mm Conex press connection and position the ring over the pipe end. Insert the prepared pipe into the elbow socket until it reaches the stop. Use a compatible Conex press tool to actuate the press at the fitting location, completing the mechanical joint according to the tool manufacturer's operating instructions. After pressing, verify the joint visually and test the system for leaks in accordance with relevant installation standards.
Use only approved Conex press rings and compatible press tools sized for 35 mm copper tubing. Ensure pipes are free from oil, dirt and debris before assembly and follow local plumbing codes and pressure testing procedures. Do not use press fittings on damaged or excessively corroded pipe sections.
