Copper reducing tee Conex B Press 28 x 15 x 28 mm P513002815028
Conex B Press copper reducing tee 28 x 15 x 28 mm provides a durable press-fit branch connection for potable water, heating and general plumbing systems. Manufactured from copper and engineered for B Press installation, this reducing tee allows a continuous main run of 28 mm to be joined with a reduced 15 mm branch using press technology. The fitting is intended for use where a smaller diameter feed is required without compromising flow integrity or long-term corrosion resistance.
The copper construction ensures natural corrosion resistance and suitability for potable water and heating circuits. B Press compatibility enables reliable, solder-free installations with consistent joint strength and reduced installation time compared with traditional brazing. The reducing geometry provides a smooth transition between diameters to minimise turbulence and maintain hydraulic performance in mixed-diameter pipe networks.
Select the appropriate pipe lengths and ensure pipe ends are cut square and de-burred before insertion. Insert the 28 mm and 15 mm copper pipes fully into the respective ports of the reducing tee so that each pipe engages the fitting stop. Use a B Press-compatible pressing tool with the correct jaw or ring size for 28 mm and 15 mm connections, and perform press operations according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions and relevant standards. After pressing, inspect each joint visually and, where applicable, perform pressure testing of the system according to local regulations.
Use only B Press-approved pressing tools and accessories, follow local plumbing codes, and carry out pressure testing after installation. Store fittings in a dry environment and avoid mechanical damage prior to installation to maintain joint integrity.
