Air cooler CRYORIG C7 Cu 9.2 cm 1300-2500 RPM 30 dB
The CRYORIG C7 Cu air cooler is a compact CPU cooling solution designed for small form factor systems and builds that require stock-height compatibility. Featuring a 9.2 cm fan with a speed range of 1300–2500 RPM and a maximum airflow of 40.5 CFM, the C7 Cu combines a copper-enhanced heatsink design with a low noise profile of 30 dB. Its dimensions of 97 mm x 97 mm x 47 mm make it suitable for many cases where space is limited while providing improved thermal performance compared to standard aluminium variants.
The C7 Cu uses copper in critical thermal areas to deliver approximately 15% better thermal performance than the standard C7 without increasing size, fan RPM, CFM, or noise level. The cooler adopts a zero-interference layout with a fiberglass-enhanced plastic backplate to keep the backside clear of obstructive components and a front-side design that remains inside the CPU keep-out zone to avoid interfering with RAM or nearby components. Integrated acoustic absorbers reduce vibration-transmitted noise, and the Quad Air Intake design increases effective airflow in tight spaces.
Mount the CRYORIG C7 Cu on the compatible CPU socket following the supplied mounting hardware and the motherboard manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure the backplate or included washers are fitted to avoid interference with backside components if present. Position the unit so the fan intake aligns with available case airflow and connect the fan header to the CPU fan header on the motherboard. Verify clearance with memory modules and other nearby components before full assembly, and apply thermal compound according to the compound manufacturer’s recommendations.
For optimal results in small form factor systems, use the C7 Cu with a case layout that allows unobstructed side or top intake for the fan. Regularly clean the fan and heatsink fins to maintain airflow, and check that the acoustic absorber pads remain properly seated to minimize vibration noise. When upgrading from a standard aluminium cooler, confirm motherboard and case clearance even though the C7 Cu maintains stock-heatsink height.
