How to use

Install the Cryorig QF140 Silent in a standard 140 mm fan mount on the case chassis, radiator or heatsink using the supplied screws or compatible mounting hardware. Connect the 4-pin PWM cable to a motherboard fan header or fan controller that supports PWM to enable variable speed control. Configure fan speed curves in BIOS or software to match desired cooling and noise levels; lower RPM values provide near-silent operation while higher RPM values increase airflow. Ensure the fan orientation matches the intended airflow direction for intake or exhaust.

Usage recommendations

For quiet systems, set default BIOS fan curves to keep the fan near the 200–400 RPM range during light load and allow higher RPM under sustained load. When using on radiators, position the fan to minimise air restriction between the radiator fins and the fan frame and use PWM control for dynamic response. Periodically clean dust from the fan blades and airflow paths to maintain performance and low noise.
