POS printer CUSTOM Q3X
The CUSTOM Q3X is a wired thermal POS printer designed for retail and hospitality environments. It prints on 80 mm thermal paper with a maximum roll diameter of 80 mm and delivers a maximum resolution of 203 x 203 DPI. The printer supports a range of 1D and 2D barcode formats and offers USB Type-B and RS-232 (serial) connectivity. Built with a robust mechanism and a mean time between failures (MTBF) of 360,000 hours, the Q3X targets continuous, high-volume printing while maintaining consistent output quality and uptime.
The CUSTOM Q3X combines thermal print technology and a compact, modern design to provide reliable receipt and ticket printing. Its thermal head offers clear graphic and text reproduction with efficient power consumption. A built-in cutter is engineered for reliable operation and reduced maintenance, while the device’s lightweight, black housing integrates easily into point-of-sale counters and service stations. Available connectivity options and barcode support make it compatible with common POS setups.
Install the CUSTOM Q3X on a stable surface near your POS terminal and connect power and the selected data interface (USB Type-B or RS-232). Load 80 mm thermal paper rolls with the thermal side facing the print head and set the roll inside so the diameter does not exceed 80 mm. Configure the printer from your POS software or device driver, selecting appropriate paper size, print density and baud rate when using serial connection. Test-print a receipt to verify correct alignment, barcode rendering and cutter operation.
Use high-quality thermal paper compatible with 80 mm width to prolong print-head life and maintain barcode readability. Keep the cutter and paper path free of dust and debris; schedule periodic checks if the device is used in high-volume environments. For reliable connectivity, use shielded cables where possible and verify baud rate and driver compatibility for RS-232 setups. Consider professional installation if integrating with legacy POS systems.
