POS printer CUSTOM KPM180H Wired Thermal 200 x 200 DPI
The CUSTOM KPM180H Wired Thermal 200 x 200 DPI is a wired POS printer designed for retail and hospitality environments that require fast, reliable receipt printing. It delivers a maximum resolution of 200 x 200 DPI and supports paper with a nominal width of 82.5 mm and a maximum printing width of 80 mm. The unit includes built-in barcode printing for formats such as AZTECCODE, Code 128 and Data Matrix, and offers internal memory and flash storage to handle templates and transaction data. Its black enclosure fits standard point-of-sale counters and back-office stations.
The printer provides a high print speed of up to 200 mm/sec for quick transaction throughput and reduced customer wait times. Thermal print technology eliminates the need for ink or toner, lowering consumable costs and simplifying maintenance. Integrated barcode support enables on-demand printing of a variety of 1D and 2D codes without additional modules. Network connectivity via Ethernet LAN allows direct integration into POS networks for centralized printing and remote management. Compact black housing conserves counter space and matches common retail aesthetics.
Install the CUSTOM KPM180H on a flat, stable surface near the POS terminal and connect to power and the Ethernet network following the supplied installation guide. Load thermal paper with the thermal side facing the print head and ensure the roll is seated correctly to provide a maximum printing width of 80 mm. Configure the POS software to recognize the printer via network settings or the provided drivers; set paper size and character encoding to match the receipt templates. Use the printer's internal memory for storing logos or frequently used templates and upload barcode data from the POS application when printing tickets, receipts or labels.
Use good-quality thermal paper matched to the printer's width to maintain print clarity and prolong print head life. Keep the print head and paper path free of dust and debris; perform periodic cleaning according to the maintenance instructions. For networked deployments, assign a fixed IP address or reserve the device via DHCP to ensure consistent connectivity. If printing high-density barcodes or graphics, verify resolution and scaling in the POS driver to achieve optimal readability.
