Starting Fluid CX80 CX-312 500 ml — engine starting aid spray
CX80 CX-312 Starting Fluid is a 500 ml aerosol spray formulated to assist ignition in petrol and small engines that are difficult to start, especially in cold weather. Delivered in a portable can with an easy-to-use actuator, the product provides a short, concentrated spray designed to improve the initial combustion event and help the engine reach stable running conditions more quickly.
The formulation provides a strong, fast-acting starting boost for petrol engines and many small two- and four-stroke engines. The aerosol packaging ensures precise, low-waste application and convenient storage in a workshop or vehicle. The ready-to-use spray reduces the number of starter attempts and can shorten cranking time, which is useful in low-temperature conditions or after extended storage.
Follow vehicle or equipment manufacturer's guidance before use. Shake the can briefly and, with the engine off, apply short bursts of the spray into the air intake, carburettor throat, or designated starting aid point while attempting to start. Use only the minimum amount required to achieve ignition and avoid prolonged spraying. Ensure correct positioning to prevent liquid pooling or contact with hot surfaces. After the engine starts, allow it to run at a stable idle so fuel and combustion normalise.
Use only on compatible petrol and small engines and store the aerosol in a cool, well-ventilated place away from heat sources and open flames. Do not use on diesel engines unless explicitly specified by the equipment manufacturer. Observe safety precautions on the can label, wear eye protection if necessary, and avoid inhalation of spray. Dispose of the empty can according to local regulations for pressurised containers.
