Compression union nut D-Link Omløber møtrik TA RG1/2 10 mm

Compression union nut D-Link Omløber møtrik TA RG1/2 10 mm is a compression fitting component designed for pipe connections with RG1/2 thread size and a seating diameter of 10 mm. It is intended to create a sealed mechanical joint between pipes and compatible fittings in plumbing and heating systems. The part is suitable for confined installation spaces and supports straightforward assembly when used with the correct mating parts and sealing elements.

Advantages

The compression union nut provides a compact mechanical connection that requires no soldering or welding, reducing installation time in tight areas. Its design ensures a reliable seal when combined with the appropriate olive or ferrule and properly tightened, offering leak-resistant performance in typical domestic and light commercial plumbing applications. The nut’s dimensions match common RG1/2 installations and a 10 mm pipe seating, enabling compatibility with standard copper or soft metal tubing of that size.

Suitable for

• Plumbing connections in residential water supply lines
• Heating system pipe joints and radiator connections
• Repair or replacement of existing compression fittings in restricted-access locations
• Temporary or permanent mechanical pipe joints where soldering is impractical

Key specifications

• Thread size: RG1/2 compatible
• Seating (pipe) diameter: 10 mm
• Type: compression union nut for use with olive/ferrule and mating fitting
• Application: water and heating system pipe connections
• Installation environment: suitable for confined or hard-to-reach spaces

How to use

Ensure the pipe end is cut square, deburred and free of contaminants. Slide the compression nut onto the pipe, followed by the matching olive or ferrule, then insert the pipe into the mating fitting until it seats fully. Thread the nut onto the fitting and hand-tighten, then use an appropriate wrench to secure the connection to the manufacturer's recommended torque or until the joint is firm and leak-free. After assembly, pressurize and inspect the joint for leaks; if leak is detected, slightly tighten the nut further, avoiding over-tightening which can deform the ferrule or damage the pipe.

Usage recommendations

Use with matching olives/ferrules and fittings designed for RG1/2 and 10 mm seating. Select materials and sealing elements compatible with the conveyed medium and local plumbing standards. For long-term reliability, follow installation torque guidance and perform pressure testing after installation.
