The D-Link DPS-700 is a redundant external power supply designed to match the wattage needs of D-Link Ethernet and Gigabit switches. Housed in a robust metal enclosure, it connects to an AC power source and links to a switch’s internal power input to provide backup power and sustain switch operation in the event of an internal power-supply failure. The DPS-700 supports full output power for the connected switch and increases power availability for the device.

How to use

Install the DPS-700 into a standard 19-inch equipment rack and connect the AC power cable to a suitable AC supply (90–264 V, 50–60 Hz). Connect the DPS-700 to the switch’s redundant power input according to the switch manufacturer’s instructions.
