Paper Cutter Dahle 508 0.6 mm 6 sheets
The Dahle 508 rotary trimmer is a compact, entry-level paper cutter designed for hobby and light office use. It features a 46 cm cutting length, a cutting capacity of 0.6 mm (up to 6 sheets, depending on paper type), a stable metal base with non-slip rubber feet and integrated format lines with millimetre divisions for precise alignment. The trimmer includes a self-sharpening steel rotary blade enclosed in a safety head, a lower steel blade and a pressure rail with markings. Model number: 00508-24050, EAN 4009729069080.
The unit combines a lightweight construction (1.3 kg) with a stable metal base to ensure easy handling and secure placement. The self-sharpening rotary blade in a closed plastic safety head and the lower steel blade provide durable, accurate cuts. Automatic clamping on the cutting line, two scale bars with millimetre scale for exact 90° cuts and changeable cutting head increase versatility and precision. The trimmer is compatible with an optional creative set (model 981) offering additional heads for perforation, folding and deckle cutting.
Place the Dahle 508 on a flat, stable surface and align the material using the format lines and millimetre markings on the base. Position the paper under the pressure rail and use the automatic clamping feature to fix the material along the intended cutting line. Slide the rotary cutting head along the rail to perform the cut, keeping steady pressure and a straight movement for even results. Change the cutting head if a different function (perforation, folding, deckle) is required, following the manufacturer’s instructions for safe replacement.
For best results, avoid cutting stacks thicker than the specified 0.6 mm capacity and check paper type before cutting. Keep the safety head closed while handling the cutter and store the unit on a stable surface. Use the optional creative set 981 when perforation, deckle or folding cuts are needed.
