In-wall DATACOM module STP CAT5E 4×RJ45 for structured cabling, model 2368
In-wall DATACOM module STP CAT5E 4×RJ45 (model 2368) is a shielded network module designed for mounting either flush with the wall or surface-mounted. It provides four CAT5e RJ45 ports protected behind a dust shutter and is intended for structured cabling installations that require STP connections to reduce electromagnetic interference.
The module offers four shielded RJ45 ports (Cat.5e) in a compact form factor suitable for standard 45 × 22.5 mm modules. It can be installed both above and below plaster, compatible with both 110 and LSA termination tools, and comes with components for neat installation: surface box, face plate, shuttered modules and STP keystone jacks.
Prepare the mounting location and run shielded twisted-pair cabling to the module. Terminate each cable to the STP keystone jacks using either a 110 or LSA tool according to the Cat.5e wiring standard. Place the keystone modules into the face plate, secure the face plate to the surface box or into the flush opening, and close the dust shutters to protect unused ports.
Use shielded patch cords and ensure proper grounding of the shield at the patch panel or switch to maintain STP effectiveness; follow local installation practices and Cat.5e wiring color codes for reliable network performance.
