Description

The Magellan 1500i from Datalogic is a compact, high-performance barcode module designed for retail POS, pharmacy and customer service environments. It supports fast decoding of both 1D and 2D barcodes from printed labels and mobile screens, and includes Digimarc® Barcodes watermark decoding for additional code recognition capability.

Install the Magellan 1500i module into the desired housing or countertop cutout with the specified 60 × 75 mm footprint, secure connections to the host system via RS-232 or USB and supply 5 V power. Aim the scanner window toward the area where labels or mobile device screens will be presented. Present barcodes to the scanner at a steady speed and angle to allow the onboard decoder to read omnidirectional 1D codes and matrix 2D codes.
