Presentation Mode Base Black for Datalogic Gryphon 4600 corded models

Presentation Mode Base Black for Datalogic Gryphon 4600 corded models is a dedicated accessory that holds a Gryphon 4600 corded scanner in an upright, hands-free orientation. Designed to fit the form factor of the Gryphon 4600 series, this base provides a fixed-position mount for continuous presentation scanning at points of sale, counters and fixed scanning stations where an upright scanner improves process efficiency.

Advantages

The presentation base offers a stable and compact mounting solution that keeps the scanner accessible and correctly oriented for rapid barcode capture. Its design supports uninterrupted hands-free operation, reducing the need for repeated manual handling and enabling faster transaction flow. The black finish blends with typical retail and office environments and minimizes visual distraction on counters and work surfaces.

Suitable for

• Point-of-sale terminals and retail checkouts
• Retail counters and customer service desks
• Fixed scanning workstations in warehouses or stockrooms
• Environments requiring frequent, high-throughput barcode presentation

How to use

Place the presentation base on a flat, stable surface and set the Gryphon 4600 corded scanner into the cradle so that its scanning window faces the intended presentation area. Connect the scanner to its host system following the scanner’s connection instructions; the base does not affect signal or cable routing. Adjust the scanner placement within the base to ensure optimal read angle and distance for the types of barcodes being scanned. Test with sample barcodes to confirm reliable capture before regular use.

Usage recommendations

Use the base on a level surface and avoid placing loose items around the scanner that could obstruct barcode presentation. For sustained high-throughput environments, periodically check that the scanner remains securely seated and that the scanning window is clean to maintain reliable performance.
