The QuickScan QD2500 and QW2500 are corded handheld 2D imagers from Datalogic designed for reliable everyday use in retail and other light-duty environments. Built with a robust IP52-rated housing and tested to withstand 1.5 m (5 ft) drops and over 10 million trigger presses, these scanners read a full range of barcodes — 1D, 2D, postal, stacked, composite, dotcode and digital watermark codes — and can scan codes displayed on smartphone screens or through plexiglass barriers. The imagers include Motionix automatic activation, adjustable illumination and an easy-to-see aiming system with two blue triangles plus Datalogic’s patented Green Spot for successful-read confirmation.
