Dehn DG M TNS 275 Surge Arrester 230-400 V
The Dehn DG M TNS 275 is a high-performance 4-pole surge arrester engineered specifically for 230/400 V AC power networks. This modular device is designed to protect sensitive electrical equipment from voltage spikes and surges, ensuring the longevity and stability of your power infrastructure. It features a robust, prewired design that combines a base part with easily replaceable plug-in protection modules, making maintenance straightforward and efficient.
This surge arrester offers exceptional reliability through its advanced Thermo Dynamic Control monitoring system, which continuously tracks the status of the protection modules. The use of heavy-duty zinc oxide varistors ensures a high discharge capacity, effectively managing transient overvoltages. Its modular architecture allows for quick, tool-free replacement of modules, while the vibration and shock-tested design guarantees durability even in demanding environments. Furthermore, it is fully compatible with other devices in the Red/Line product family, allowing for seamless energy coordination within complex electrical systems.
This device is specifically designed for TN-S network configurations and may not be compatible with other earthing systems like TN-C or IT without appropriate modifications or additional components. It is intended for AC power networks and should not be used in DC circuits.
The Dehn DG M TNS 275 should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical regulations. The unit is designed for mounting on standard DIN rails. Once the base part is securely installed and wired into the TN-S system, the protection modules can be inserted into the base. The module locking system ensures they remain securely in place during operation. If a module needs to be replaced, simply press the module release button to remove it without the need for specialized tools.
Regularly inspect the status indicator on the protection modules to ensure the device is functioning correctly. If the indicator shows that a module has reached the end of its service life, replace it immediately to maintain continuous protection.
