The DeLOCK 42624 is a transparent plastic enclosure for two 2.5" or 3.5" SATA hard drives or SSDs. It connects to a host via the included USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable and supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) transfer speeds. The enclosure offers hot-swap capability and a supplied stand for vertical operation, while its transparent housing allows a clear view of the installed drives.

Advantages

The transparent plastic housing provides visibility of installed drives and a lightweight, durable casing. Tool-free drive installation enables quick insertion and removal: the lid slides back, the drive connects to the SATA port and the lid locks into place. How to use

Slide the enclosure lid backwards with light pressure, insert the 2.5" or 3.5" SATA drive so that the drive’s SATA connector mates with the internal SATA port, then push the lid forward until it clicks and locks. Connect the enclosure to a computer using the supplied USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable. The host operating system should recognise the drives automatically if drivers for USB 3.2 Gen 1 and SATA are present.

Usage recommendations

Place the enclosure on a stable, flat surface or use the supplied stand for vertical operation. Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid exposure to liquids or extreme temperatures. For 3.5" HDDs, use a powered USB port or an external power source if required by the drive.
