The DELOCK WiFi 6 Antenna N Female 9.0 - 10.5 dBi Directional Wall and Pole Mount Outdoor White is a specialized outdoor directional antenna designed to extend and improve wireless network coverage. Featuring an N female connector and providing a gain of 9.0 to 10.5 dBi, this device effectively enhances signal strength for demanding networking environments. Engineered for versatility, it supports both wall and pole mounting, allowing for flexible installation in various outdoor settings while maintaining a clean white finish.
Advantages
This directional antenna significantly improves wireless signal reach and stability by focusing network traffic in a specific direction. Its robust outdoor construction ensures reliable performance against weather elements. The inclusion of a standard N female connector provides compatibility with a wide range of networking cables and access points, making it a dependable choice for expanding outdoor network infrastructure.
Suitable for
- Extending wireless networks between different outdoor buildings
- Improving outdoor Wi-Fi coverage for large yards or industrial areas
- Connecting remote outdoor access points to a central network
- Directional point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless setups
When it may not be suitable
This antenna is not designed for omnidirectional coverage, meaning it will not provide an even 360-degree signal distribution, making it inefficient for central indoor placement or areas requiring multi-directional access. Additionally, it may not be ideal for users lacking compatible coaxial cables and mounting hardware or those without experience in directional antenna alignment.

How to use
Begin by selecting a suitable outdoor mounting location, such as a sturdy wall or an existing pole, where the antenna has a clear line of sight toward the target area. Securely attach the mounting hardware provided with the unit, ensuring the antenna is firmly fixed against wind and weather. Connect a compatible low-loss coaxial cable with an N male connector to the antenna's N female port and route the cable to your wireless router or access point. Finally, carefully adjust the directional angle of the antenna to achieve optimal signal strength and network performance before tightening all fasteners completely.
What to consider before purchase
- Verify compatibility with your existing wireless router, access point, or signal booster
- Check that you have the appropriate coaxial cable with matching connectors
- Assess the mounting environment to determine if wall or pole installation is more suitable
- Ensure you have a clear line of sight to avoid physical interference affecting the directional signal
Usage recommendations: For optimal results, ensure precise directional alignment during installation and use high-quality, weather-sealed coaxial cables to minimize signal loss over long distances.
