When it may not be suitable

This fan is not designed for applications requiring variable voltage lower than 24 V unless an appropriate step-up converter is used. It is also unsuitable for high-moisture or outdoor environments without proper protective housing, as it lacks specialized ingress protection ratings.

Key specifications

• Operating voltage: 24 V DC
• Dimensions: 40 x 40 x 28 mm
• Fan type: DC axial fan

How to use

Mount the fan securely to the designated mounting points on your electronic enclosure or heat sink using appropriate screws. Ensure that the airflow direction arrow, typically marked on the side of the housing, points toward the desired exhaust or intake path. Connect the power leads to a compatible 24 V DC power source, observing correct polarity to ensure proper operation and prevent electrical damage.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your power supply delivers a stable 24 V DC output
• Check the physical dimensions of 40 x 40 x 28 mm against your available mounting space
• Ensure the airflow capacity meets the thermal requirements of your specific equipment

Usage recommendations

For optimal performance and longevity, keep the fan blades and surrounding ventilation grills clean from dust accumulation and ensure unobstructed airflow paths around the intake and exhaust areas.
