This SATA cable by Delock complies with the latest SATA standard and supports data transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s. It is a 0.7 m male-to-male cable with a yellow jacket designed for internal connections between SATA devices such as hard drives, controller cards or SATA flash storage. The connector orientation routes the cable to the left when plugged into a drive. The SATA 6 Gb/s interface is downward compatible with earlier SATA versions, in which case the connection will operate at the lower supported speed. Metal clips on the SATA connector provide additional snap-in retention.
