This PCI Express card by Delock expands a PC with two M.2 slots: one M.2 Key B slot that supports SATA M.2 modules (formats 22110, 2280, 2260, 2242, 2230) and one M.2 Key M slot for PCIe/NVMe M.2 modules (same supported formats). The card uses a PCIe x4 host interface and is available in a low-profile form factor suitable for compact systems. Both M.2 slots can be used simultaneously; the SATA M.2 module is connected to the motherboard via a SATA cable.
The Delock PCI Express x4 card provides simultaneous support for one SATA M.2 (Key B) and one NVMe M.2 (Key M) drive, enabling flexible storage expansion. Its PCIe x4 host interface offers high-speed connectivity and the low-profile design fits small form factor PCs. The card supports common M.2 lengths (22110, 2280, 2260, 2242, 2230) and includes a SATA connection for the M.2 SATA module.
Install the expansion card into an available PCIe x4 (or higher) slot on the motherboard and secure it in the chassis. Mount a compatible M.2 SATA module (Key B) and a compatible M.2 PCIe/NVMe module (Key M) into their respective M.2 sockets, using the matching standoff positions for the module length (22110, 2280, 2260, 2242, 2230). Connect the SATA M.2 module to the motherboard using the supplied SATA cable if required. After installation, power on the system and verify that both devices are detected in the BIOS/UEFI and the operating system. Install appropriate drivers or configure the drives in disk management as needed.
Use quality M.2 modules that meet the supported key and length specifications. Ensure the chassis provides sufficient airflow for NVMe drives and confirm motherboard compatibility with additional SATA devices when connecting the M.2 SATA module via a SATA cable.
