Rack Power Strip Delta PD-8/RACK/IEC 19" 8× 230V IEC outlets
Delta PD-8/RACK/IEC is a 19" rack-mount power strip designed to deliver reliable power distribution in server racks and network cabinets. It provides eight 230V IEC outlets in a compact form factor that preserves rack space while enabling centralized power access for multiple devices. The unit is intended for professional IT and AV environments where organized cabling and easy access to outlets are required.
The design supports mounting in standard 19" racks to keep power connections consolidated and reduce clutter. Eight IEC outlets allow multiple servers, switches, routers or peripheral devices to be connected from a single rack position. The compact construction simplifies cable management and helps maintain airflow inside cabinets. The device uses standard 230V supply and IEC sockets to ensure compatibility with common IT equipment.
Install the power strip in an available 19" rack position using appropriate mounting screws and brackets. Connect the unit to a suitable 230V mains supply following site electrical regulations and ensuring the upstream circuit provides adequate current capacity. Plug IEC-equipped devices into the outlets, distributing load across sockets to avoid overloading any single circuit. Route and secure power cords to prevent strain on connectors and to maintain organized cable runs within the cabinet.
Verify the total power consumption of connected equipment and ensure the rack's electrical circuit rating is not exceeded. Allow sufficient ventilation around the unit and avoid placing heavy objects on top of the power strip. For critical systems, consider using upstream surge protection or an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to protect against voltage spikes and power interruptions.
