Deltaco USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Dual-Power Cable, USB-A to 2x USB-A, 0.3 m, Black

The Deltaco USB 2.0 Hi-Speed dual-power cable is a specialized connectivity solution designed to bridge the gap for devices that demand more power than a single standard USB port can provide. Featuring a robust construction with one USB-A connector branching into two USB-A connectors, this cable ensures that your peripherals receive a stable and consistent power supply. With a compact length of 0.3 meters, it minimizes cable clutter while maintaining high-speed data transfer capabilities up to 480 Mbit/s, making it an essential tool for managing power-hungry hardware.

Advantages

The primary advantage of this dual-power cable is its ability to aggregate power from two separate USB ports, effectively preventing connection drops or performance issues in devices that require higher current. Its high-speed data transfer rate ensures that you do not sacrifice performance for power stability. The short 0.3-meter length is specifically engineered to keep your workspace organized and efficient, preventing unnecessary tangling while providing enough reach for standard desktop or laptop setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives that require extra power
• Powering high-drain USB peripherals
• Stabilizing connections for external optical disc drives
• Supporting devices that experience power-related disconnects

When it may not be suitable

This cable is not intended for use with devices that only require standard power levels, as the dual-connector design may be unnecessary and occupy two ports on your host device. It is also not suitable for applications requiring long-distance connections due to its short 0.3-meter length.

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB-A to 2x USB-A
• Standard: USB 2.0 Hi-Speed
• Maximum data transfer rate: 480 Mbit/s
• Cable length: 0.3 meters
• Color: Black

How to use

To use the cable, insert the two USB-A connectors into two available USB ports on your computer or power source. Then, connect your peripheral device to the single USB-A female end of the cable. Ensure that both power-providing ports are active to guarantee the device receives the necessary current for stable operation.

What to consider before purchase

• Check if your host device has two adjacent USB ports available
• Verify that your peripheral device is compatible with USB 2.0 standards
• Ensure the 0.3-meter length is sufficient for your specific setup

Usage recommendations

For optimal performance, always connect both USB-A power connectors to ports on the same host device or a high-quality powered USB hub to ensure consistent voltage levels.
