The Deltaco e-Charge EV-32010 is a 10 m Type 2 charging cable designed for mode 3 charging at public chargers or dedicated home charging boxes with a Type 2 socket. It supports charging power up to 22 kW, features silver-plated contacts for reliable conductivity and extended service life, and includes a dust cover to protect connectors from dust, dirt and moisture during storage. The cable jacket is made of TPE, offering resistance to oil, abrasion and UV and remaining flexible at low temperatures. Type 2 is the EU standard socket used by many manufacturers including Audi, BMW, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen and Volvo.

How to use

Connect one Type 2 plug to the vehicle inlet and the other end to a compatible Type 2 charger or wallbox. When connected, the vehicle and charger perform two-way communication and a self-test; charging begins only after the test confirms a correct connection and the vehicle is ready to receive power. During charging the connector is mechanically locked to prevent theft and unauthorized removal. After charging completes, unlock the vehicle to release the mechanical lock, then unplug the cable from the vehicle side first and finally from the charger.

Usage recommendations

Do not repair or splice the cable; any modification may impair safety and function. Store the cable with the dust cover in place to protect contacts from dirt and moisture. Inspect connectors before use and avoid forceful bending or crushing to preserve the TPE jacket and internal conductors.
