Interface Card Deltaco USB-1
The Deltaco USB-1 is an internal USB 2.0 interface card for installation in a standard PCI slot. It provides two external USB-A female ports and one internal 5-pin USB connector to expand available USB connections for peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers and external storage devices. The card uses wired USB 2.0 connectivity to deliver backward-compatible data transfer and a simple, plug-in expansion for desktop computers. The nickel-colored finish offers a neutral metallic look that integrates with a variety of system interiors.
The card adds multiple USB ports without requiring external hubs or additional power supplies, maintaining a compact footprint inside the case. USB 2.0 support ensures compatibility with a wide range of devices and offers stable wired connections for everyday peripherals. The presence of an internal 5-pin connector allows routing to internal headers or front-panel adapters for convenient cable management. Its PCI form factor makes it suitable for most legacy and mainstream motherboards that include a free PCI slot.
Power down the computer and disconnect it from mains before installation. Open the PC case, identify an available PCI slot and remove the corresponding slot cover. Insert the card into the PCI slot until it is seated firmly and secure it to the case with the bracket screw. If you need front-panel or internal access, connect the system’s internal cable to the 5-pin USB header on the card. Close the case, reconnect power, and boot the system. The operating system should detect the new USB 2.0 ports automatically; install drivers if required by your OS. Once installed, connect peripherals to the external USB-A ports for immediate use.
The card is intended for adding standard-speed USB ports to desktops; for high-bandwidth devices such as modern external SSDs or 3D webcams, consider a USB 3.x solution. Avoid installing the card while the system is powered. Use shielded USB cables and avoid overloading ports with high-current devices unless the host supplies sufficient power or an externally powered hub is used.
