Protective LiPo Battery Safety Bag Descon 20×14×16.5 cm
Protective LiPo Battery Safety Bag Descon 20×14×16.5 cm
The Descon Protective LiPo Battery Safety Bag measures 20 × 14 × 16.5 cm and is built to reduce risks associated with charging, storing and transporting lithium polymer (LiPo) batteries. Constructed from fire-retardant materials and designed with a secure closure, the bag creates a physical barrier that helps contain heat, sparks and small ignition events. It accommodates hobby RC batteries, drone packs and similar portable battery packs where safer handling and temporary storage are needed.
The safety bag combines a compact size with durable, heat-resistant construction to provide a practical containment solution for LiPo cells. Its secure closure and reinforced seams help limit the escape of hot gases or molten material in case of a battery failure, while the internal space allows for straightforward placement of single or small multiple battery packs. The bag is lightweight and portable, enabling safer charging and storage without specialized equipment.
Place the LiPo battery pack inside the bag on a non-flammable surface before beginning charging or storage. Ensure connectors and balance leads are positioned so the closure fully seals; do not force bulky or damaged batteries into the bag. Close the opening according to the bag’s closure design and monitor charging from a safe distance. After charging, allow the battery to cool where possible before removing it from the bag. Inspect the bag regularly for damage, and replace it if the internal lining or seams are compromised.
Use the bag as an additional safety measure but do not rely on it as the sole protection. Do not leave charging batteries unattended for extended periods, avoid storing severely damaged or swollen cells inside the bag, and keep the bag on a non-combustible surface away from combustible materials. Follow manufacturer guidelines for battery charging, handling and disposal.
