Devolo Magic 2 WiFi next Starter Kit 1200 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet Wi-Fi White 2 pieces

The Devolo Magic 2 WiFi next Starter Kit 1200 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet Wi-Fi White 2 pieces is a high-performance networking solution designed to extend reliable internet connectivity throughout your home or office using your existing electrical wiring. By turning any power outlet into an internet access point, this kit eliminates Wi-Fi dead zones and delivers fast, stable connectivity for multiple devices simultaneously. Featuring a maximum data transfer rate of 1200 Mbit/s and Gigabit Ethernet ports, it ensures smooth streaming, gaming, and browsing without signal loss through thick walls or ceilings.

Advantages

This starter kit utilizes advanced technology to transform standard power lines into a high-speed data transmission path, offering superior coverage compared to traditional wireless extenders. The inclusion of Gigabit Ethernet interfaces allows for reliable wired connections for bandwidth-heavy devices such as smart TVs, desktop computers, and gaming consoles. Internal antennas provide a sleek, modern appearance while maintaining consistent signal distribution. Furthermore, the system is fully compatible with major operating systems like Windows and Mac, ensuring seamless integration into your existing technical environment.

Suitable for

• Extending internet coverage to remote rooms, basements, or multi-story buildings
• Connecting wired devices like smart TVs and gaming consoles in areas without direct router access
• Eliminating Wi-Fi dead zones and signal drops caused by thick walls
• Setting up stable home and office networking environments

When it may not be suitable

This product may not perform at optimal speeds in buildings with very old, faulty, or complex electrical wiring circuits, such as those separated by multiple circuit breakers or electricity meters. Additionally, it requires direct connection to wall power outlets and should not be plugged into power strips or surge protectors, which can significantly degrade data transmission performance.

Key specifications

• Maximum data transfer rate of 1200 Mbit/s
• Gigabit Ethernet LAN interface
• Internal antennas
• Type F power plug
• White color
• Pack includes two units
• Compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems

How to use

To set up the Devolo Magic 2 WiFi next Starter Kit, plug the first adapter into an electrical outlet near your existing internet router and connect them using an Ethernet cable. Next, plug the second adapter into a power outlet in the room where you need network coverage. Once plugged directly into the wall sockets, the units will automatically pair with each other to establish a secure and high-speed network connection. You can then connect your wireless devices via Wi-Fi or plug wired equipment directly into the LAN port of the second adapter.

What to consider before purchase

• Check that your electrical wiring is on the same power grid and not separated by sub-meters
• Ensure you have available wall outlets without the need for multi-socket power strips
• Verify compatibility with your existing router and operating systems

For optimal performance, always plug the adapters directly into wall power outlets rather than extension leads or power strips, and keep them away from large household appliances that may cause electrical interference.
