Power distribution unit DIGIT DN-95437 — 9x Type F outlets, 1U rack, 2 m cable, 16 A, C14
Rack-mount power distribution unit DIGIT DN-95437 provides nine Type F AC outlets in a 1U housing designed for integration into 482.6 mm (19") enclosures. The unit accepts power via an IEC C14 coupler and includes a 2 m H05VV-F supply cable. Constructed with an aluminium profile and ABS components, the PDU supports mains voltages up to 250 V at 50/60 Hz and is rated for currents up to 16 A. Sockets are rotated by 45° to improve space management and accessibility when multiple devices are connected. The housing and supplied mounting brackets allow horizontal or vertical installation in server cabinets, network racks and equipment shelves.
The DIGIT DN-95437 combines a compact 1U form factor with a durable aluminium and ABS construction for stable rack mounting and earthing. A 2 m cable with an IEC C14 input simplifies connection to existing mains distribution, while the rotated Type F sockets help to reduce socket crowding and facilitate cable routing. The inclusion of mounting angle profiles enables flexible installation positions and reliable attachment to standard 19" cabinet rails. The design supports safe distribution of power for multiple low- to moderate-power devices within a rack environment.
Install the PDU into a 19" cabinet using the supplied angle profiles; choose horizontal or vertical orientation depending on rack layout and cable access. Connect the IEC C14 plug to an appropriate mains inlet or upstream distribution device rated for the required voltage and current. Plug equipment into the Type F outlets, taking care to distribute load across sockets rather than concentrating maximum loads on a single outlet. Ensure the cabinet is properly earthed and that the total load does not exceed the PDU's rated current.
Position the unit to keep cable runs tidy and avoid blocking airflow to adjacent equipment. Verify the cumulative power draw of connected devices to remain within the 16 A rating, and use the rotated sockets to accommodate bulky plugs or right-angle connectors. For critical systems, consider distributing high-draw devices across separate PDUs or circuits to reduce risk of overload.
