Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS Digitus DN-170064
Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS Digitus DN-170064
The Digitus DN-170064 is a Line-Interactive Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) designed to provide short-term power backup and basic voltage regulation for small office and home equipment. With an output power capacity of 0.8 kVA (480 W), a 9 Ah internal battery at 12 V and a compact Mini Tower form factor, this UPS supports safe shutdown and temporary operation of connected devices. The unit includes two Type F AC outlets and a USB Type-B communication port, and it is supplied with USB and Phone (RJ-11) cables for connectivity and simple integration.
The UPS offers line-interactive voltage regulation and battery-backed power to protect against short outages and brownouts while maintaining a compact footprint. Its 480 W output delivers reliable power for networking equipment, desktop PCs, or peripheral devices. The integrated USB Type-B port enables status monitoring and orderly shutdown via compatible software, and the included USB and RJ-11 cables simplify initial setup. The Mini Tower design and 4.35 kg weight make the unit easy to place in confined spaces.
Place the UPS on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation and connect the mains input to an earthed AC outlet. Plug equipment into the two Type F AC outlets and connect the USB Type-B port to a computer if monitoring or automatic shutdown is required. Ensure connected devices do not exceed the rated 480 W load. When mains power fails, the UPS switches to battery power automatically; monitor remaining runtime via connected software or device indicators and perform a controlled shutdown of sensitive equipment before the battery is fully depleted. Recharge the battery by restoring mains power; full recharge typically requires about 8 hours.
For reliable operation, keep the UPS in a dry, dust-free environment away from direct heat sources, and avoid overloading the unit beyond its 480 W rating. Periodically verify battery health through the UPS monitoring software and allow the battery to charge fully after extended disuse. Use the included USB cable for communication to enable automatic save-and-shutdown procedures on connected systems.
