UPS Digitus Line-Interactive 1500 VA 900 W Tower Black
The Digitus Line-Interactive 1500 VA 900 W Tower UPS in Black provides line-interactive power protection for home and office equipment. With 1.5 kVA (1500 VA) capacity and 900 W output power, the UPS supports connected devices during short outages and stabilizes input voltage via boost and buck AVR. The tower design includes an LCD display for status information, four AC outlets for load distribution and a USB Type-B port for monitoring and safe shutdown. A 9 Ah internal battery offers backup energy with a recharge time of approximately 6 hours. The unit is compact and designed to operate quietly, producing noise levels below 40 dB.
The UPS uses line-interactive topology with AVR (boost and buck) to maintain stable output during voltage fluctuations, reducing the risk of data loss and hardware stress. Fast transfer times ensure continuity of operation when mains power fails, while built-in protections guard against overload, battery over-discharge and overcharge. Microprocessor control and an LCD display simplify monitoring and operation. The compact tower enclosure saves space and the unit’s low noise level makes it appropriate for office and home environments.
Place the UPS on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation and keep it away from heat sources and moisture. Connect critical devices to the four AC outlets and link the UPS to a computer using the USB Type-B port for monitoring and automatic shutdown configuration with compatible software. Before first use, charge the internal battery for the recommended period to ensure full backup capacity. During mains failures the UPS will switch to battery power automatically; monitor the LCD display and acoustic alerts to assess remaining runtime and battery status. Perform periodic battery checks and replace the battery according to manufacturer guidance or when backup time degrades.
For reliable operation, avoid connecting high inrush or highly inductive loads such as laser printers or large motor-driven equipment. Size connected loads so the total does not exceed the 900 W rated output, and schedule regular battery recharge cycles and periodic testing to verify backup readiness. Use the USB connection and included monitoring software to enable safe automated shutdown of critical systems.
