UPS system Digitus OnLine 6 kVA 6 kW
The DIGITUS OnLine UPS system (6 kVA / 6 kW) is a compact double-conversion uninterruptible power supply designed for rackmount or tower installation. It delivers a continuous 6000 W output with a power factor of 1.0 and supports scalable runtime via external battery modules (batteries not included, part number DN-170108). The unit provides multiple communication interfaces and a user-friendly LCD for system status, configuration and monitoring, making it suitable for industrial and IT applications that require reliable, continuous power.
High active power and a power factor of 1.0 allow more connected loads per unit, saving rack space and reducing overall cost. Online (double-conversion) operation achieves high efficiency, reducing heat dissipation and improving energy management. A compact 2U rack/tower design optimises space usage. Built-in monitoring options including RS232/USB and an SNMP slot enable remote supervision. Additional features such as automatic battery self-test, fan speed control and Remote Emergency Power Off (REPO) enhance safety and component lifetime. The system supports parallel/redundant operation of up to four units and accepts external battery cabinets to extend runtime.
Install the UPS in a rack occupying 2U or position it as a tower on a stable surface. Connect the mains input using the hardwired power connector and attach critical loads to the UPS output. Insert and connect optional external battery modules as required for extended runtime, following the external battery cabinet instructions. Use the LCD display to check status and configure settings; connect to the network or a monitoring station via RS232, USB Type-B or an SNMP management card for remote supervision. For parallel or redundant setups, follow the manufacturer’s parallel configuration procedure to synchronise up to four units.
To ensure reliable operation, order compatible external battery modules (DN-170108) if runtime extension is needed, perform regular battery self-tests, and monitor temperature and fan operation. Use the REPO function only in defined emergency procedures and follow safety guidelines during installation and maintenance.
